Formerly Vice President of Digital Research Inc.'s commercial systems division.

Founded Compiler Systems, Inc. and authored its products: CBASIC and CB80. Compiler Systems was acquired by Digital Research.

Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University, Master's degree in computer science from Naval Postgraduate School.

Commissioned officer in the United States Navy serving in the Nuclear Submarine Force from 1970 to 1979. Member of the IEEE and ACM, and served as both president and chairman of the board of directors for the Software Publishers Association.

Mark Bailey,

Sr. Vice President, Business Development/Emerging Businesses - 1989

Formerly an Associate at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and worked in sales support at Hewlett Packard.

Graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University; received an MBA from Harvard University.

Held CFO positions at Epelo Corporation and Atasi Corporation.

He also has served as senior financial and accounting management positions with Fairchild Camera and Instrument Corporation and as a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Company.

Formerly General Manager for the Systems Architecture business unit; the director of development for the Advanced Utilities Business Unit; and the lead developer and chief architect for Norton Desktop for Windows.

He also served as Vice President for Security Pacific Merchant Bank where he was responsible for the development of real time trading systems.
