This is part of the AppleVision software.

 AppleVision (1.5.5)

In the AppleVision extension there is a hidden picture, of the AppleVision team. It is so burried that you can't even get to it using ResEdit -- and you must use a file editor (like CanOpener).

Note: Although the AppleVision extension is made for AppleVision monitors, it is often installed on most computers with regular Apple updates. In addition, you will not be able to find the AppleVision name at the beginning of your extensions folder but at the very end (Apple placed a symbol in front of its name so it would load last on start-up).

  1. You will need to open up the AppleVision Extension with CanOpener or a similar program that can separate compressed images from the actual file.

If you have access to those programs, you will find a picture of the development team with the two missing engineers in computer monitors.

Same concept as 1.5.5, just a different picture.

More

These AppleVision people really like their eggs.

If you go to Monitors and Sound control panel, there is another AppleVision egg (scrolling credits) burried in there.
