Backgrounds
Some various background patterns that I use

For those of you who care, and like to customize your Macs, here are a few background patterns that I use. In case you can't tell, I like pretty low contrast grey-on-grey background patterns -- it allows icons to be stark and clearly visible. (I sometimes lose icons in noisy desktop patterns or background pictures -- so I avoid those).

A friend did an interesting event called MacBlack (or Bondage-a-go-go). I liked the Mac with attitude, so I redid it (without benefit of scanner). Makes an OK background pattern -- better as a startup screen.

There is a low contrast version of the MacKiDo Kanji characters (grey on grey) -- very non-obtrusive, but still pretty clear. And there is an even lower contrast version of the MacKiDo Kanji characters (grey on grey) -- even more non-obtrusive, but not as clear as the previous version.

Browsers seem to mess up the coloring, so you can Download them all here - Backgrounds.sit

To use these pictures: Unstuff them, and just drag the pictures directly into the Desktop Pictures or Desktop Pattern Control Panel.
