By: David K. Every

(C) Copyright 1999 DKE - All Rights Reserved.

Code Names:

  • PowerBook Duo 210 & 230: DBLite (the lightweight machine was named one night over a few brewskies in a club called Das Boot), BOB W (Best Of Both Worlds because it's a portable computer that's also a desktop machine when inserted into its dock), Cinnamon
  • PowerBook Duo 250: Ansel
  • PowerBook Duo 270c: Escher
  • PowerBook Duo 280: Yeager
  • PowerBook Duo 280c: Yeager
  • PowerBook Duo Dock II: Atlantis
  • PowerBook Duo Floppy Adapter: Blackwatch
  • PowerBook Duo MiniDock: Spaniard

These Eggs do not work with an E-Machines EtherDock

PowerBook Duos (attached to a MiniDock or Duo Dock)

  1. Restart the machine and hold down "cmd-opt-d-b"
Remember, you must be attached to the Duo Dock.

You will get a screen with 8 people (assumably some part of the development team).

PowerBook Duos (attached to a Duo Dock II or Duo Dock Plus)

  1. Restart the machine and hold down "cmd-opt-a-e".
Remember, you must be attached to the Duo Dock.

You will see a small photograph of a group of 17 people in the middle of the screen.

This is not exactly a great picture of the monitor. If you can help get the 8 people, or a better version of this one, let me know. I couldn't extract the image from the ROM.
